10 down....

30 to go! Pounds that is...

I can't believe they are actually coming off! I know that probably sounds very vain, but I am amazed! This weight just packed on with out me really even realizing it. So its really amazing to me that its coming off. Anyhow....

It's been a strange week. I had a stray dog show up. I was on my way out the door to work and it jumped into my car. I was running late and since it was running around in the street I put it in my yard. (We have a fence.) When I got home the mystery dog had disappeared. So that kicked off my odd week. I just hope the little thing is okay.

It also seems that I O'ed this week! On my own, all by my self! WOOHOOO! YAY ME!!! Unfortunately Phil was underway this week for a couple days and I think we missed it. Oh well, the plan was to loose some weight before September, when we get transferred. We're got to FL for a couple months then we're going to Detroit. Phil pulled recruiter duty for his shore duty. When we get to MI we will find an Re when we settle in. So really if we did miss it I wont be too upset because I feel like we have a plan for the first time in all of this mess!

Hello out there in internet land!

Okay, so I should really start by introducing myself. I’m Jenn. I have an amazing husband, Phil. He's my best friend in the whole world. I'm a Navy wife. We have two dogs who think that they are people, and will not be convinced otherwise. They are spoiled rotten but we love them anyway. We have been trying to build our family for 3 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 19 after having a miscarriage. That pregnancy was completely unexpected, but very wanted! It was a bit of a surprise I hadn't had a cycle in two years prior to that. We spent all of 2007 going to an RE almost daily. It was a 2 hour drive away, and it was a huge practice. We really felt as though we got no personalized care. I was lucky to see the same doctor (they were doing they're fellowships.) two weeks in a row. I only saw my actual RE 3 times. Come to think of it, that may factor in to the reason why nothing they did seemed to work for me. I first tried Clomid, I failed that challenge with flying colors! At the same time I was on Metformin AKA: the drug from hell. I had every possible side effect from it; ten fold! Then I was on Gonal F. The only thing that came from that was that i got over my massive fear of needles. So we decided to take a break. The Navy transferred us and here we are now, basically back where we started from. YAY ME! :)
Currently I am trying to loose the weight I put on during my treatments, and getting ready to get back on the fertility med roller coaster!

Thanks for stopping by!
